I am over the moon ..After 4 years a foal is born at our Golden Ranch and it's a BOY!!! .... Let me introduce you a few hours old "Sugar" the first foal of our homebred stallion Cash- Lonestar Chief Doc (Domingo Lone X Sky Chief Roxy).. the proud mom is our Lena-MDB Magdalena (Matthew Dee Bar X Jewels Lena Bar).

Markus Süchting born 1989, grown up at the breeding farm „Gestüt Eckershausen“ where his parents bred and raised American Quarter Horses since 1987 1999-2008 : participated at Horsemanship Camps as student and later as assistant/instructor 2000 : student at the New Mexico State 4-H Horse School in Albuquerque, USA He earned 127 AQHA points with different horses he always trained himself from these 103,5 AQHA points are earned in reining classes the others were earned in Ranch Horse Versatility, Working Cowhorse, Western Pleasure, Trail, Showmanship, Halter and Western Horsemanship classes. He qualified several horses for the AQHA World Show, among those are the stallions AM I GRAY and DOUBLE RR OLENA, being qualified for Senior Reining 2007, 2009 and 2011 Markus was with three different stallions German Co Champion of the FN (Federation National) in Reining 2013 he got the 3rd place in Limited Open 4year old Bit Futurity Here his performance at NRHA Germany Breeders Futurity 2013, Bit Futurity, in Kreuth

DQHA would like to help us to develop the true “Horseman spirit” in Slovenia! So this year we are organizing for the first time a Horsemanship Camp with “New Mexico Group« at our
Golden Ranch from 14-19 July in Kisovec, Zagorje ob Savi.
The instructors shall be Dr. Joe B. Armstrong and Anna Eader-Riggs from US and Holger Meyer and Katrin Dreyer-Süchting from Germany. Katrin Dreyer-Süchting is the coordinator of this Camps in Germany.B. Armstrong is organizing these Camps in Germany since 1999. The price for the Camp »all inclusive« (5 days training, excellent catering food from a good local restaurant, sleeping on the hey or in a tent, stable and food for horses for 6 days) is 300,00€!
The camp is open to all breeds and all kind of riding (English or western) and level of riders!

»Howdy everybody!
Well, we sure all are really looking forward to the event and to
visit with you and your horses in your beautiful country soon!
...
It'll be a time packed with lots of insights and information,
plenty of riding each day, educational workshops and, last but
not least, great fun!
The camps are open to all breeds, all kinds of riding and all
level of riders, no matter how young or old. Students not just
work on their riding and horsemanship but meet others sharing
the same passion, make new friends and explore new ways to
communicate with their horses. Many have left camp with tears in
their eyes - and not because of the dust.
The camps provide an open, relaxed environment allowing to try
new things, to ask the questions you always wanted to ask and to
learn something new or to refresh those things long forgotten or
not practiced for a while. It's a chance to get first hand
knowledge, hinds and advice from professional horsemen Dr. Joe
and Anna from New Mexico, having many years of experience in the
show pen, as judges, in the cattle ranching business and the
performance horse industry. No matter whether you are a novice
rider, ride for recreation only or are showing on big shows in
dressage, reining, trail, pleasure - you name it: the camps are
there for everyone and provide a great chance to learn and
practice over several days in a relaxed, but intensive manner.
But, hey, here comes the secret!
The most important thing about the camps is: they are great fun
and we all just love to have and to make lots of it!
So, if you want: saddle up and come ride with us!

We are very happy and proud as on May 9th 2012 our Spirit-Wild Spirit O'Lena (Domingo Lone X Buena O Lena) saw the daylight! He is our second Golden Ranch offspring! He has a great constitution, beautiful buckskin colour and an amazing temperament!

My dreams came true when Roxy-Sky Chief Roxy, the dam of O'Lena came to our ranch! She is one of the first mares that came directly from Texas to Italy! He first owner and trainer was a legend of western riding Jack Brainard! I am very proud to have such an amazing mare at our ranch! If luck shall be on our side, we hope for Roxy's offspring in Spring 2012.

At our first western show Marko Krajnc and Domingo Lone did quite well! At their first competition in Horsemanship Amateur they were 4th.
Our Alexander was 2nd with Buena O'Lena in Horsemanship Youth!
